Course Introduction

The course is an experimental course matched with the basic course of analog electronic circuit. It is an important basic course for combining theory with practice and improving students' practical ability. It can be used in amplifier design, feedback amplifier design and phase compensation, operational amplifier applications, power amplifier design and optimization, oscillator design and other aspects to provide students with practical opportunities to deepen their understanding of theoretical knowledge and improve their ability to apply what they have learned.

II.                 Course content and Time allocation

1.      Basic Amplifier Design (6 period/in class)

Give circuit performance parameters, design, optimize, test, and verify basic amplifiers or combined amplifiers that meet the requirements.

2.      Feedback amplifier design and optimization (6 periods/in class)

On the basis of the basic configuration amplifier, a multistage combined amplifier composed of differential and single-ended amplifiers is formed. The basic structure is consistent with the core circuit of the operational amplifier, and a negative feedback amplifier is further formed. Combined with simple capacitance compensation or Miller capacitance compensation, the amplifier is phase compensated, and a stable negative feedback amplifier is obtained.

3.      Integrated operational amplifier application circuit (8 periods/in class)

Combination circuits composed of integrated operational amplifiers, covering open-loop, closed-loop and hybrid applications of operational amplifiers, circuit functions for practical applications, designing, optimizing and testing circuits. Mastering the design process and testing methods of operational amplifiers for practical application circuits.

4.      Nonlinear electronic circuits (12 periods/in class)

Class A or Class B (audio) power amplifier design and testing, distortion testing, evaluation and improvement methods, testing power amplifier distortion by driving the actual speaker load.

Analysis, design and test LC, crystal or RC sine wave oscillator circuits, as well as analysis of start-up conditions and evaluation of stability.
